Exchange Policy

In short

Each piece is made in the studio and is not eligible for a refund. We are, however, happy to arrange an exchange on eligible pieces within fourteen days of delivery, provided the piece is returned in original, unused condition. Commissions are final sale.

No refunds

Because every piece we make is hand-finished in limited numbers, we do not offer cash or card refunds. Once an order has been confirmed and the piece has been made, delivered, or dispatched, the sale is final in the sense that we will not reverse the payment. This applies both to catalog pieces and to commissions.

Exchanges

We understand that living with a piece is different from seeing it in a photograph. For that reason, if you receive a catalog piece and decide within fourteen days of delivery that it is not the right fit for your space, we will arrange an exchange — either for a different piece of equal or greater value (you pay the difference), or for a studio credit that can be applied to a future piece or commission within twelve months.

How to request an exchange

Return shipping

For exchanges within Bahrain, workshop 63 will arrange pickup at no charge. For international exchanges, the buyer is responsible for return shipping and any associated duties. We recommend a tracked, insured service — we cannot accept responsibility for pieces lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Commissions are final sale

Commissions are designed and made to your specification and cannot be resold as standard pieces. For this reason, commissions are final sale and are not eligible for exchange, studio credit, or refund once work has begun. Deposits on commissions are non-refundable. This is stated in every commission quotation before any work starts.

Damaged or incorrect pieces

If a piece arrives damaged, or if we have shipped the wrong piece, email workshop.sixtythree@gmail.com within seven days of delivery with photographs of the piece and the packaging. We will repair, replace, or — in the rare case that neither is possible — issue a full refund. This overrides the "no refunds" clause above and reflects our obligations under Bahraini consumer protection law.

Warranty and aftercare

Our stainless-steel work is made to last. Outside the exchange window, if you experience a material or manufacturing defect, please contact us — we will repair or replace the piece at our discretion, and are generally happy to look after anything that leaves the studio, for as long as it is ours.
