These terms govern your use of the workshop 63 website (studio-63.vercel.app and any connected domains) and the enquiry-based ordering process. By browsing the site or submitting a form, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About us

workshop 63 is a contemporary design atelier based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, working primarily in stainless steel. It carries forward the workshop that Ahmed Abdulla Alkhaja built. References to "we", "us", and "our" in these terms mean workshop 63.

Use of the site

You may browse the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt any administrative area, database, or server-side endpoint without authorisation.
• Scrape, copy, or re-publish the site's images, photography, written copy, or product listings without our written permission.
• Submit false, misleading, or automated enquiries through the forms on this site.

Enquiries are not orders

workshop 63 does not currently process online payments. Every piece displayed in the catalog, and every commission, begins with an enquiry. An enquiry is a request for information and availability — it is not a confirmed order and does not create a contract between you and us.

A binding order is formed only once we have replied to your enquiry with a written quotation covering price, specification, lead time, and delivery, and you have confirmed that quotation in writing (email or WhatsApp) and made any agreed deposit.

Pricing, quotations, and currency

All prices are quoted in Bahraini Dinar (BHD). Prices visible in the catalog are indicative and subject to final confirmation in your written quotation. Quotations are valid for fourteen days unless we state otherwise. Prices include applicable Bahrain VAT where relevant.

Commissions

Commissions are bespoke pieces made to your specification. Commissions require a non-refundable deposit before work begins and are considered final sale once work has started. The exchange and return provisions in our Exchange Policy do not apply to commissions.

Lead times and delivery

Because each piece is made in the studio, lead times vary and will be stated in your quotation. We will keep you informed of progress. Delivery within Bahrain is arranged directly; international shipping is quoted separately and is subject to any import duties or charges applied by the destination country, which are the buyer's responsibility.

Quality and variation

Our pieces are hand-finished. Small variations in surface, finish, patina, and grain are part of the work and are not defects. Photography on the site is as accurate as we can make it, but the presentation of stainless steel on screen may differ slightly from the object in person.

Intellectual property

All designs, photography, written content, logos, and the overall visual identity of workshop 63 are the property of workshop 63 and are protected under the copyright and intellectual property laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain and international conventions. Nothing on this site may be reproduced, modified, or used commercially without our prior written consent.

Third-party links

The site may link to third-party services such as WhatsApp or Instagram. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those services.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, workshop 63 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the site or an order will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Changes

We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is posted on this page. Continued use of the site after that point constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
